What To Do with Kids:


So you brought your little ones on the trip to Cape Town? Not a problem. There are various ways of keeping them busy and have some fun days for them. We will give you some ideas for what to do with your kids.

Two Oceans Aquarium
Your kids will be amazed by a visit to the Two Oceans Aquarium at the V&A Waterfront, and so will you! There are many different exhibits, including a Touch Pool where you can touch and feel various animals and plants. There is also a fascinating exhibit of African Penguins which you can have a close look at a natural-habitat like environment. Your boys will love the Predator Exhibit where you get a close up look at ragged tooth sharks. (www.aquarium.co.za)

Ratanga Junction
This amusement park is situated about 10 minutes outside of the city on the N1. Rollercoasters, animal shows, dance shows - something for everyone. Your kids will definitely enjoy this day! (www.ratanga.co.za)

Tygerberg Zoo
The Tygerberg Zoo ist the only zoo in the Western Cape and is situated about 40km from Cape Town. It is home to more than 284 species including antilopes, zebras, chimpanzees, birds and reptiles. There is a children's farm yard for your kids to enjoy. (www.tygerbergzoo.co.za)

World of Birds
The largest bird park in Africa is situated in Hout Bay, about 10km outside of Cape Town. The park is home to more than 3,000 birds of 400 different species. You will also find cute Squirrel Monkeys and Meerkats. (www.worldofbirds.org.za)
